Please note that this A2301 iPad Pro 11-Inch (3rd Gen) supports 5G NR bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n71, n77, n78, and n79, as well as 5G NR mmWave bands n260 and n261, at least in the US. Although Apple's official marketing initially indicated this model was sold in Europe, this was later found to be incorrect based on inspections and reader reports, with Apple subsequently updating some of its information. This model is believed to have been sold in the US (and possibly Mexico, India, Brazil, and the UAE). The iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi + Cellular - 3rd Gen) features a fully-laminated, antireflective 11" LED-backlit 2388x1668 "Liquid Retina" display (264 ppi, 600 nits) housed in a slim case with a thin black bezel, rounded corners, and flat sides. It is available in silver or "Space Gray."

This iPad Pro is powered by a 3.2 GHz Apple M1 processor with 8 cores (4 performance, 4 efficiency), an 8-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. Models with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage have 8 GB of RAM, while 1 TB or 2 TB models have 16 GB.

Key new features include a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port, a new 12-megapixel Ultra Wide front camera with "Center Stage" for automatic panning and zooming, and 5G support. It also retains LiDAR, "Face ID," external keyboard and trackpad support, and compatibility with the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129). The dual rear camera system includes a 12-megapixel wide and 10-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Connectivity includes Thunderbolt / USB 4, 5G, dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) with HT80 with MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.0. It also has five microphones and a four-speaker system.

Battery life is rated at 10 hours for Wi-Fi web surfing or video, and 9 hours on cellular data. It has a software-based eSIM and a nano-SIM slot.

Compared to its predecessor, this 3rd Gen model maintains the same size and display but offers much more powerful internals, better connectivity (Thunderbolt), a significantly improved front camera, and adds 5G networking.
