The iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi Only - 2nd Gen) comes with a fully-laminated, antireflective 11" LED-backlit 2388x1668 "Liquid Retina" display (264 ppi, 600 nits). It is framed by a thin black bezel and encased in a slim chassis with rounded corners and flat sides, available in either silver or a darker "Space Gray" finish.

This iPad Pro is equipped with an eight-core 2.5 GHz Apple A12Z Bionic processor, an "embedded M12 coprocessor," and a "Neural Engine" for machine learning and AR tasks. It has 6 GB of RAM and is available with 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of flash storage.

Key new features include LiDAR and trackpad support via an optional "Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro" and third-party accessories. It also offers "Face ID" authentication and supports the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129), which charges magnetically on the side. The device includes three cameras: a 7-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual rear camera system (12-megapixel wide-angle and 10-megapixel ultra-wide-angle).

In addition to a USB-C port, connectivity features include dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) with HT80 with MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0. It also has five microphones and a four-speaker system.

The battery life is rated for up to 10 hours of "surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video."

Compared to its predecessor, this iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi Only - 2nd Gen) and its cellular-equipped siblings maintain the same physical dimensions and display but add LiDAR support, an enhanced rear-camera system (with an ultra-wide-angle camera), faster Wi-Fi, improved microphones, and increased entry-level storage.

The 2020 Wi-Fi-only 11-inch iPad Pro was considered a strong, albeit incremental, update. Its A12Z Bionic processor delivered top-of-the-line performance, handling everything from high-end gaming to 4K video editing with ease. The key hardware upgrades included a new dual-camera system with an ultra-wide lens and a LiDAR scanner for advanced AR experiences. While the hardware refresh was modest, the introduction of trackpad support in iPadOS, perfectly complemented by the new Magic Keyboard accessory, was a transformative feature. It significantly improved the iPad Pro's capabilities as a productivity machine, making it a more serious contender as a laptop replacement. Users praised its stunning ProMotion display, quad-speaker audio, and premium design, which remained unchanged from the 2018 model. For new buyers or those upgrading from an older, non-Pro iPad, it was an incredibly powerful and versatile creative tool.
