The iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi Only - 4th Gen) is equipped with a fully-laminated, antireflective 11" LED-backlit 2388x1668 "Liquid Retina" display (264 ppi, 600 nits). It is framed by a thin black bezel and enclosed in a slim case with rounded corners and flat sides, available in either silver or "Space Gray."

This iPad Pro is powered by a 3.49 GHz Apple M2 processor with 8 cores (4 performance, 4 efficiency), a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 100 GB/s of memory bandwidth. Models with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage come with 8 GB of RAM, while 1 TB or 2 TB models have 16 GB of RAM. It features a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port.

Similar to their predecessors, the iPad Pro 11" (4th Gen) models support LiDAR, external keyboards and trackpads, and the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129), which charges magnetically. A new "Hover" feature is introduced, previewing where the pencil will touch the screen. The front 12-megapixel "TrueDepth" camera supports "Center Stage" and "Face ID." The dual rear camera system includes a 12-megapixel wide and a 10-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Connectivity includes Thunderbolt / USB 4, simultaneous dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) with 2x2 MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.3. It also has five microphones and a four-speaker system.

The battery life is rated for up to 10 hours of "surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video."

Compared to its predecessor, the iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi Only - 4th Gen) and its cellular-equipped siblings maintain the same physical dimensions, display, and cameras but offer a faster processor and architecture, faster Wi-Fi, more advanced Bluetooth, ProRes video capture, and the new Apple Pencil "Hover" feature.

The 4th generation 11-inch iPad Pro (Wi-Fi Only) was seen as a testament to iterative refinement. The headline feature was the new M2 chip, which provided a substantial boost in CPU and GPU performance, making an already incredibly fast tablet even faster. The other major innovation was the Apple Pencil Hover feature, a clever software and hardware integration that allowed users to see a preview of their digital brush or pen stroke before it touched the screen. This was highly praised by digital artists. The device also gained faster Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Beyond these points, however, the device was identical to its M1 predecessor, featuring the same excellent design, display, and camera system. This led many to conclude that it was a fantastic device for new Pro users, but not an essential upgrade for those who already owned the M1 model. It solidified its position as the most powerful compact tablet on the market.
