It's important to know that this A2777 iPad 10th Gen (Wi-Fi/Cellular), sold only in mainland China, supports a single nano-SIM card but not eSIM. It is compatible with 5G NR on bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n29, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n71, n77, n78, and n79, but it does not support 5G NR mmWave.

All iPad 10th Gen models, including this China-specific version, are essentially a more affordable, slower, and less-equipped version of the iPad Air (5th Gen).

The iPad 10th Gen (Wi-Fi/Cellular) features a 10.9" LED-backlit 2360x1640 "Liquid Retina" display (264 ppi, 500 nits) with True Tone, but lacks Wide-color (P3) and ProMotion. It's framed by a thin black bezel and housed in a slim case with rounded corners and flat sides, available in silver, blue, yellow, or pink.

This iPad is powered by a six-core Apple A14 Bionic processor, a 4-core GPU, and a 16-core "Neural Engine." It has 4 GB of RAM and is available with either 64 GB or 256 GB of flash storage. It also includes a "Touch ID" sensor in the top button, awkward support for the original Apple Pencil (A1603, MK0C2AM/A) via a USB-C adapter, and a "Smart Connector" for the size-specific Apple Magic Keyboard Folio (MQDP3LL/A).

It has a landscape front-mounted 12-megapixel "Ultra Wide" camera with "Center Stage" technology, and a rear 12-megapixel "Wide" camera for up to 4K video.

Other features include the aforementioned 5G, dual-band 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with HT80 with MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.2, plus stereo speakers. A USB-C port provides power and connectivity.

Battery life is rated at 10 hours for Wi-Fi web surfing or video, and 9 hours on cellular data.

The A2777 model of the 10th generation iPad, designed for mainland China, was evaluated as a significant and colorful modernization of the standard iPad. Its new flat-edged, all-screen design was a major aesthetic improvement over the previous generation.
