The MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.6 16-Inch 5600M is a configure-to-order variant of the standard 16-inch model, listed separately due to its unique identifiers and OS support. Aside from the graphics processor, these models are otherwise identical.

This model is powered by a 14 nm, 9th Gen "Coffee Lake" 2.6 GHz Intel "Core i7" processor (I7-9750H) with six cores, a 12 MB shared L3 cache, 16 GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 SDRAM (upgradable to 64 GB at purchase), and 512 GB of flash storage. It features dual graphics processors: an AMD Radeon Pro 5600M with 8 GB of HBM2 memory and an Intel UHD Graphics 630.

Externally, it includes a 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a "new Magic Keyboard" with a redesigned scissor mechanism and inverted-T arrow keys, a customized "Touch Bar" with a separate escape key and "Touch ID" sensor, and a large "Force Touch" trackpad.

It also boasts a 16.0" high-resolution 3072x1920 (226 ppi, 500 nits) "Retina" display with True Tone technology and an adjustable refresh rate. The integrated battery offers an estimated 11 hours of runtime.

Available in silver or "Space Gray" aluminum, it weighs 4.3 pounds (2.0 kg).

Connectivity includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Compared to its predecessor, this model has the same processor but a larger screen, faster RAM and graphics, an improved scissor-switch keyboard with a better layout, higher-quality audio systems, and longer battery life.
