The Apple MacBook Pro "M1" 8-Core 13-Inch (2020) is equipped with a 5-nm 3.2 GHz Apple M1 processor featuring 8 cores (4 for performance, 4 for efficiency), an 8-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It comes with 8 GB of onboard RAM and either a 256 GB or 512 GB onboard SSD as standard. Both RAM and SSD could be configured with higher capacities at the time of purchase, but not afterwards.

Offered in silver and a darker "Space Gray," this notebook has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, high-dynamic-range stereo speakers, a scissor-switch "Magic Keyboard" with a custom "Touch Bar" featuring a separate Esc key and "Touch ID" sensor, and a large "Force Touch" trackpad.

Additionally, it features a high-resolution 13.3" widescreen 2560x1600 (227 ppi, 500 nits) LED-backlit "Retina" display with True Tone technology and a built-in battery that provides an estimated 17-20 hours of runtime.

Connectivity includes 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, two Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 ports (USB-C), and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Compared to the model it replaced, the "2020, M1" MacBook Pro models look very similar but are built on a completely different internal architecture.
