The Apple MacBook Pro "M3" 8-Core CPU/10-Core GPU 14-Inch (Late 2023) model is equipped with a 4.05 GHz Apple M3 processor with eight cores (4 performance, 4 efficiency), a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It comes standard with 8 GB of "unified" onboard RAM (or 16 GB from March 4, 2024) and a 512 GB or 1 TB onboard SSD. Both RAM and SSD could be customized with higher-end options at purchase but are not upgradable later.
Available in silver and a dark "Space Gray" (but not "Space Black"), this notebook features an integrated 1080p FaceTime HD webcam, a high-fidelity six-speaker sound system with force-cancelling woofers, a backlit "Magic Keyboard" with a "Touch ID" sensor, and a large "Force Touch" trackpad.
It also has a high-resolution 14.2" widescreen 3024x1964 (254 ppi, 1000 nits sustained, 1600 nits peak HDR, 600 nits SDR, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio) LED-backlit "Liquid Retina XDR" display and a battery with an estimated 15-22 hour life.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3, two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C), an HDMI 2.1 port, an SDXC card slot, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a "MagSafe 3" power connector.
Compared to its predecessor, this entry-level 14" "Late 2023" MacBook Pro model offers a larger screen, a faster processor, and more advanced connectivity, but removes the "Touch Bar" and has shorter battery life for some tasks.
