The Apple iMac G3/350 (Summer 2000 - Indigo, No Firewire or AirPort) is equipped with a 350 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor, a 512k backside level 2 cache, 64 MB of RAM, and a 7.0 GB Ultra ATA hard drive. It includes a 24X slot-loading CD-ROM drive, ATI Rage 128 Pro (AGP 2X) graphics with 8 MB of VRAM, and a Harmon-Kardon designed sound system, all housed in a translucent "indigo" all-in-one chassis with a 15-inch CRT display.
This model is quite similar to the iMac G3/350 (Slot Loading - Blueberry, No Firewire) it succeeded, but features an "indigo" case instead of "blueberry" and lacks internal support for both AirPort (802.11b) and Firewire "400".
However, this model did come with a slightly larger hard drive (7.0 GB vs. 6.0 GB), a marginally better video processor with the same 8 MB of VRAM, and it replaced the widely criticized Apple USB Keyboard and "hockey puck" mouse with the superior Apple Pro Keyboard and Mouse. It was also priced US$200 lower, at US$799 instead of US$999.
It should be noted that Apple designated this line as the "Summer 2000" series, referring to summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
