The Apple MacBook Air "M4" 10-Core CPU/10-Core GPU 15-Inch (2025) model is equipped with a 4.4 GHz Apple M4 processor that has 10 cores (4 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It includes 16 GB or 24 GB of "unified" default onboard RAM and either a 256 GB or 512 GB onboard SSD. Both the RAM and SSD can be customized with larger capacities at the time of the initial notebook purchase, but neither component can be upgraded later.
This is all enclosed in a uniformly thin aluminum case with an integrated 1080p HD 12-megapixel "Center Stage" webcam supporting "Desk View," a four-speaker sound system, Touch ID, a backlit "Magic Keyboard," a large "Force Touch" trackpad, and a high-resolution 15.3-inch LED-backlit 2880x1864 (224 ppi, 500 nits) "Liquid Retina" display with Wide Color (P3) and True Tone technology.
The aluminum case comes in four color options: light "Sky Blue" (pictured, left), dark blue "Midnight," a warm gray "Starlight," and classic silver, weighing 3.3 pounds (1.51 kg). Apple estimates the battery life to be between 15 and 18 hours, depending on usage. By default, it includes a MagSafe 3-equipped 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter, but it can also be configured with a single fast-charge 70W USB-C Power Adapter at no additional cost.
Connectivity consists of 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 ports (USB-C connector), and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Compared to its M3 predecessor, the MacBook Air "M4" models use the same housings but offer a faster architecture, a better-quality webcam, increased external display support, a new color option (Sky Blue), and more competitive pricing.
