It is not compatible with 5G NR bands n29 (700d MHz) and n71 (600 MHz), nor with 5G NR mmWave bands n258, n260, and n261. This device is intended for carriers nearly everywhere—it is available in at least 189 countries—but not in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, and a few other nations. However, it is technically functional with carriers worldwide.
All iPhone 13 Pro models are equipped with a 6.1-inch (diagonal) haptic-touch "Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion" (2532x1170, 460 ppi, 120Hz refresh rates) that covers almost the entire front. It has four cameras. The front "TrueDepth" camera, located in the "notch," supports Face ID, captures 12-megapixel photos, and records 4K video. The rear features a 4K video-capable "pro 12 megapixel camera system" with Telephoto (f/2.8), Wide (f/1.5), and Ultra Wide (f/1.8, 120-degree field of view) lenses.
In contrast to earlier iPhone models, the iPhone 13 Pro's rear camera system has larger sensors that reduce noise, allow for faster shutter speeds, and improve low-light photography, while also introducing macro support. It also features "Sensor-shift OIS" for better image stabilization. These cameras support a new "Cinematic mode" with simulated depth of field (1080p, 30 fps) and compatibility with the "ProRes" codec (1080p at 30 fps for the 128 GB model, and 4K at 30 fps for larger capacities).
The iPhone 13 Pro is built with a stainless steel case and flat sides, with a glass front and back. The front has a durable "Ceramic Shield" cover, and the back includes a "MagSafe" magnetic charging connection. It is IP68-rated for splash, water, and dust resistance (up to 6 meters for 30 minutes). It was initially sold in four colors—graphite, gold, silver, and "Sierra Blue"—with a fifth, "Alpine Green," added on March 8, 2022.
Internally, the device is powered by a 3.2 GHz "Apple A15 Bionic" processor with a six-core CPU, a 5-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It includes 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage. It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, Ultra Wideband for "spatial awareness," NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve," and dual SIMs (one physical nano SIM and one software-based eSIM or dual eSIMs).
Apple estimates the iPhone 13 Pro provides "up to" 75 hours of audio playback, 22 hours of video playback, and 20 hours of streamed video.
While pricing differed by country, in the UK, this iPhone 13 Pro was initially priced at £949, £1049, £1249, and £1449 for the 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB models, respectively.
