All iPhone 15 Pro models feature a 6.1-inch (diagonal) haptic-touch enabled "Super Retina XDR display" with ProMotion (2556x1179, 460 ppi, 120Hz refresh rates) that covers nearly the entire front of the device. It has four cameras. The front-facing "TrueDepth" camera, located in the "Dynamic Island," supports Face ID, captures 12-megapixel photos, and shoots 4K video. The rear has a "Pro camera system" with a 48-megapixel "Main" camera, a 12-megapixel "Ultra Wide" camera, and a 12-megapixel "3X Telephoto" camera. This camera system also introduces a new 24-megapixel "super-high-resolution" default, allows users to choose between three popular focal lengths (24 mm, 28 mm, and 35 mm), and supports 48-megapixel HEIF images for 4x higher resolution than previous models.
The iPhone 15 Pro has an "aerospace-grade" Titanium frame with contoured edges over an aluminum "substructure," and a glass front and back. The front is protected by a "Ceramic Shield" cover for durability, while the back includes an integrated "MagSafe" magnetic charging connector. It is rated IP68 for splash, water, and dust resistance (up to a maximum depth of 6 meters for 30 minutes). It is available in four subdued "Titanium" color options: Natural, Blue, White, and Black.
Internally, the iPhone 15 Pro is powered by a 3.78 GHz "Apple A17 Pro" processor, with a six-core CPU (two performance and four efficiency cores), a 6-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, "hardware-accelerated ray tracing," and a "dedicated AV1 decoder" for more efficient video streaming. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and is available with 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of flash storage. It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, Thread networking, second-generation Ultra Wideband, NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve" for compatible transit systems, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance via satellite, a USB-C port, a new "Action" button that replaces the former ring/silent switch, and dual eSIM functionality (it does not support physical SIM cards at all).
Apple's battery life estimates for the iPhone 15 Pro are up to 75 hours of audio playback, 23 hours of video playback, and 20 hours of streamed video playback.
