The 8 GB option was introduced on March 18, 2014, in the UK, France, and Germany, and later in sixteen other European countries on April 16, 2014. The 16 GB and 32 GB versions were discontinued on September 9, 2014. Apple's battery estimates for the iPhone 5c models are up to 40 hours of audio playback, 10 hours of 3G talk time, 8 hours of 3G internet use, 10 hours of 4G/LTE internet use, 10 hours of Wi-Fi internet use, 10 hours of video playback, and 250 hours of standby.
Pricing varied by country. In the UK, this A1507 iPhone 5c was initially sold unlocked and contract-free for £469 (16 GB) and £549 (32 GB). On September 9, 2014, Apple replaced the 16 GB and 32 GB models with an 8 GB version, which was available unlocked for £319. Various subsidized pricing plans were also available with contracts until the model was fully discontinued on September 9, 2015.
