All iPhone 11 models feature a 6.1-inch (diagonal) haptic-touch enabled LCD "Liquid Retina HD" display (1792x828, 326 ppi, 1400:1 contrast ratio) that occupies nearly the entire front of the device. It has three cameras. The front-facing "TrueDepth" camera, located in the "notch," not only supports "Advanced Face ID" authentication but also captures 12-megapixel photos, records 4K video, and provides software features like Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting. The rear of the device has dual 12-megapixel, 4K video-capable cameras: an Ultra Wide (f/2.4 aperture, 120-degree field of view) and a Wide (f/1.8 aperture) camera. In addition to the HDR and portrait mode enhancements of earlier models, the iPhone 11 also adds a Night Mode.
The iPhone 11 features a "low-carbon" aluminum frame with a glass front and back. It is rated IP68 for splash, water, and dust resistance (maximum depth of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes). Six color options are available: white, black, (pastel) green, (pastel) yellow, (pastel) purple, and (PRODUCT) RED.
Inside, the iPhone 11 is powered by a 64-bit, 7 nm 2.66 GHz "Apple A13 Bionic" processor with six cores (two performance and four high-efficiency) and a "third-generation Neural Engine." It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of flash storage (the 256 GB version was discontinued on September 14, 2021). It also features 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, Gigabit-class LTE with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, Ultra Wideband for "spatial awareness," NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve," and dual SIM support (one hardware nano SIM and one software-based eSIM).
Apple's battery life estimates for the iPhone 11 are "up to" 65 hours of audio playback, 17 hours of video playback, and 10 hours of streamed video. It also supports Qi-standard "wireless" (inductive) charging.
