It should be noted that this A1691 iPhone 6s model supports FDD-LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29; TD-LTE bands 38, 39, 40, and 41; and TD-SCDMA 1900 (F), 2000 (A), as well as the China-specific version of UMTS (WCDMA), plus GSM/EDGE and CDMA. It seems to be sold exclusively for use on China Mobile's network within mainland China.
All iPhone 6s variants feature a 4.7-inch widescreen, pressure-sensitive "3D Touch" LED-backlit "Retina HD" display with a 1334x750 resolution (326 ppi) and an "IPS technology and a taptic engine." They have dual cameras: a rear 12-megapixel, 4K "iSight" camera with 1.22-micron pixels, an f/2.2 aperture, and support for simultaneous 4K video and 8-megapixel stills, along with a front 5-megapixel, 720p "FaceTime" camera.
The iPhone 6s is built with a 7000 series aluminum body and comes in four metallic colors: "silver" (white front, silver back), "gold" (white front, gold back), "space" gray (black front, gray back), and "rose gold" (white front, pink-tinted gold back). It also features a second-generation "Touch ID" fingerprint sensor within the home button.
Powered by a 64-bit 1.85 GHz "Apple A9" processor, the iPhone 6s has 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and was offered with 16, 32, 64, or 128 GB of storage (16 GB and 64 GB options were replaced by a 32 GB option on September 7, 2016). It supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE (4G), and NFC for Apple Pay. A bottom-mounted headphone jack and a "Lightning" port are included.
Apple's battery life figures for the iPhone 6s are up to 50 hours of audio, 14 hours of 3G talk time, 10 hours of 3G or LTE internet use, 11 hours of Wi-Fi internet use, 11 hours of video playback, and up to 10 days of standby.
