Unlike other iPhone 13 Pro models, it lacks eSIM capability and instead supports dual hardware nano-SIMs.
All iPhone 13 Pro models feature a 6.1-inch (diagonal) haptic-touch enabled "Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion" (2532x1170, 460 ppi, 120Hz refresh rates) that covers nearly the entire front. It has four cameras. The front "TrueDepth" camera, housed in the "notch," supports Face ID, captures 12-megapixel photos, and records 4K video. The rear features a 4K video-capable "pro 12 megapixel camera system" with Telephoto (f/2.8), Wide (f/1.5), and Ultra Wide (f/1.8, 120-degree field of view) lenses.
In comparison to previous models, the iPhone 13 Pro's rear camera system features larger sensors that deliver reduced noise, faster shutter speeds, and improved low-light performance, while also adding macro support. It also includes "Sensor-shift OIS" for enhanced stabilization. These cameras support a new "Cinematic mode" with a simulated depth effect (1080p, 30 fps) and "ProRes" codec compatibility (1080p at 30 fps for the 128 GB model, and 4K at 30 fps for larger capacities).
The iPhone 13 Pro is built with a stainless steel case with flat sides, and has a glass front and back. The front features a durable "Ceramic Shield" cover, and the back integrates a "MagSafe" magnetic charging connection. It is IP68-rated for splash, water, and dust resistance (up to 6 meters for 30 minutes). Originally sold in four colors—graphite, gold, silver, and "Sierra Blue"—a fifth color, "Alpine Green," was added on March 8, 2022.
Internally, the device is powered by a 3.2 GHz "Apple A15 Bionic" processor with a six-core CPU, a 5-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage. It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, Ultra Wideband for "spatial awareness," NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve," and the aforementioned dual nano SIMs.
Apple's battery life estimates for the iPhone 13 Pro are "up to" 75 hours of audio playback, 22 hours of video playback, and 20 hours of streamed video.
In mainland China, this iPhone 13 Pro was initially priced at RMB 7999, 8799, 10,399, and 11,999 for the 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB models, respectively.
