It's important to know that this A1863 iPhone 8 model supports FDD-LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, and 66, plus TD-LTE bands 34, 38, 39, 40, and 41. It is designed for Verizon, Sprint, and other smaller US carriers (but not AT&T or T-Mobile), as well as carriers in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, and India.

In the US, various carrier and financing options were available, with initial unlocked, contract-free prices of US$699 (64 GB) and US$849 (256 GB). After several price adjustments and storage changes, the iPhone 8 was fully discontinued on April 15, 2020.
