The iPhone X has a "surgical-grade stainless steel" case with a glass front and back, is IP67-rated for splash, water, and dust resistance (not waterproof), and includes stereo speakers and a Lightning port. It was offered in "Space Gray" and silver.
Internally, it is powered by a 64-bit, six-core "Apple A11 Bionic" processor, has 3 GB of RAM, and 64 GB or 256 GB of storage. It supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, LTE (4G), and NFC for Apple Pay. The glass back allows for Qi-standard wireless charging.
Apple estimates up to 60 hours of audio, 21 hours of talk time, 12 hours of internet use, and 13 hours of wireless video playback.
In the US, this iPhone X was initially available on a two-year Sprint contract for US$549 or US$699. It was also offered through various leasing and installment programs from Sprint and Verizon, such as the "Apple iPhone Upgrade Program." The unlocked, contract-free price was originally US$999 or US$1149.
