It's important to know that this A1899 iPhone 8 Plus model was sold exclusively on China Mobile and does not support CDMA networks. It is compatible with FDD-LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, and 66, as well as TD-LTE bands 34, 38, 39, 40, and 41.

In China, this iPhone 8 Plus was initially RMB 6,688 (64 GB) and RMB 7,988 (256 GB). On September 12, 2018, prices were lowered to RMB 5,999 and RMB 7,399. On September 10, 2019, the 256 GB model was replaced with a 128 GB one, priced at RMB 4,499 (64 GB) and RMB 4,999 (128 GB). It was fully discontinued on April 15, 2020.
