It should be noted that this A1660 iPhone 7 model supports FDD-LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, along with TD-LTE bands 38, 39, 40, and 41. It is designed for Verizon, Sprint, and numerous smaller US carriers (excluding AT&T or T-Mobile), as well as for China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom in mainland China, and 3, China Mobile HK, CSL, and SmarTone in Hong Kong.
All iPhone 7 models, regardless of carrier, feature a 4.7-inch widescreen multitouch LED-backlit 1334x750 "Retina HD" display (326 ppi, 625 cd/m2) and a solid-state, taptic-engine-powered "clickless" Home button. It includes a rear 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, an f/1.8 aperture, a six-element lens, and wide color capture, plus a front 7-megapixel "FaceTime HD" camera that supports 1080p video.
The iPhone 7 has an aluminum body and is rated IP67 for splash, water, and dust resistance (not waterproof). It features stereo speakers and a Lightning port but omits a traditional headphone jack. Initially, it came in five colors: "silver," "gold," "rose gold," "black" (matte), and "jet black" (glossy), with Apple noting the jet black finish could show micro-abrasions. A (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition was available from March 21 to September 12, 2017.
Internally, the iPhone 7 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core "Apple A10 Fusion" processor (two high-performance, two high-efficiency cores), 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of storage. (Jet black and red were initially 128/256 GB only; a 32 GB jet black model was added and the 256 GB option was discontinued for all colors on Sept 12, 2017). It also supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE (4G), and NFC for Apple Pay.
Apple estimates the iPhone 7 delivers up to 40 hours of audio, 14 hours of 3G talk time, 12 hours of 3G/LTE internet use, 14 hours of Wi-Fi internet use, 13 hours of wireless video, and 10 days of standby.
In the US, this iPhone 7 was initially sold unlocked but subsidized on a two-year Verizon or Sprint contract for US$199 (32 GB), US$299 (128 GB), or US$399 (256 GB). Unlocked and contract-free, it was originally US$649, US$749, or US$849. It was also available through leasing and installment plans like the "iPhone Upgrade Program" and "Apple iPhone Installments."
